Brief description Fliegerclub Traunsee
Fliegerclub Traunsee is an established aviation club and flight school at Gmunden Airport (LOLU) in Austria, known as the gateway to the Salzkammergut region. The club offers a diverse and modern fleet of six aircraft, from two-seaters to four-seaters, including models such as the Tecnam P2010 dti Gran lusso, Robin DR 400 Ecoflyer 2.0S, Diamond DV20 Katana, Dynamic WT-9 ultralight, and Scheibe Falke SF 25 motor glider. This diversity makes it suitable for training beginner pilots through to advanced IFR and professional pilot training.
As a founding member of the Austrian Pilots Academy, the club offers comprehensive pilot training programs for Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), night VFR, flight instructor courses, and radio telephony training. Ground school and simulator training complement practical flight training. The club maintains a friendly and community-oriented atmosphere and organizes events and sightseeing flights over the picturesque Salzkammergut.
