Brief description Austrian Pilots Academy

Austrian Pilots Academy is an EASA and Austro Control certified Approved Training Organisation (ATO) based in Salzburg, Austria. It is committed to providing high-quality theoretical and practical pilot training without time pressure, emphasizing safety standards and fostering a supportive flight community atmosphere. Training is conducted at four approved locations: Salzburg Airport (LOWS), Zell am See, Gmunden-Laakirchen, and Eggenfelden.
The academy's diverse fleet includes single-engine piston, light aircraft, multi-engine aircraft, and gliders. Experienced instructors focus not only on exam preparation but also on instilling a strong safety mindset and good airmanship, essential for a successful pilot career.
The academy operates as a non-profit association connected with the Fliegerclub Traunsee and Luftsportverband Salzburg clubs and partners with Engl Flight Team in Germany.
Comprehensive pilot training programs cover licenses from LAPL to ATPL, instrument ratings, aerobatic and upset recovery training, flight instructor courses, and more.
