Brief description Austrian Pilots Academy

Austrian Pilots Academy is an EASA-certified Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in Salzburg, Austria, dedicated to high-quality theoretical and practical pilot training without time pressure. The academy places great emphasis on strict safety standards and fosters a supportive community atmosphere in flight operations. It offers comprehensive pilot training courses from Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL) to Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), including Instrument Rating, aerobatic and alpine flight training, Night Rating and flight instructor courses.

With four recognized training locations in Austria and Bavaria, including its home base at Salzburg Airport (LOWS), the academy has a diverse fleet of single-engine piston aircraft, light aircraft, multi-engine aircraft and gliders. Experienced flight instructors focus on teaching strong safety awareness and good airmanship beyond exam preparation to support a successful pilot career.

As a non-profit association, affiliated with Fliegerclub Traunsee, the Salzburg Air Sports Association and in partnership with the Engl Flight Team, Austrian Pilots Academy offers a remarkable environment for flight training in the region.
