flylinz is a non-profit flight school and association based at Flughafen Linz (LOWL) in Hörsching, Austria. Founded in 1965, it offers professional pilot training including Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), NVFR rating, and specialized radio communication training conducted in cooperation with experienced air traffic controllers from Austro Control. The school operates a modern fleet of single-engine piston aircraft such as Aquila A210, Cessna 172, Diamond DA40 NG, and Cessna 150, ensuring practical and comprehensive flight instruction. flylinz also allows members to charter aircraft and offers introductory flights for prospective pilots.
