Brief description Luftfahrtvereinigung Greven E.v.

The Luftfahrtvereinigung Greven e.V., located at the Sportflugzentrum am Flughafen Münster/Osnabrück (EDDG), is a well-established aviation club with over 350 active and supporting members. Founded over 90 years ago, it combines tradition and modernity in a vibrant flying community.
The club operates an ATO-certified flight school delivering professional flight training in four key aviation sports: gliding, motor flying, ultralight, and model flying. Training licenses include SPL, LAPL (A), PPL (A), and SPL-UL, with additional night flight and theoretical instruction.
The diverse and modern fleet includes well-maintained gliders such as the ASK13, ASK21, Discus CS variants, and Duo Discus; ultralight aircraft like the Alpi Pioneer 300 and Comco Ikarus C42c; motor gliders including the HK 36 Super Dimona; plus powered aircraft such as the Aquila A 210, Breezer B600, Cessna 172SP, and Socata TB series.
Members can join easily starting from an introductory discovery flight day, benefiting from a strong community and experienced flight instructors. The club's facilities at the Münster/Osnabrück airport offer modern hangars, a social clubhouse "Eule," and a hub for continued pilot training and camaraderie.
The association is a member of the AEROCLUB | NRW and emphasizes safety, community spirit, volunteerism, and comprehensive pilot education as its core values.
