Cirrus Flying Club Münster-Telgte e.V. is an aviation club and flight school at Münster-Telgte Airport (EDLT), Germany. The club operates a modern fleet of single-engine piston aircraft, including the Cirrus SR22, known for its carbon fiber construction and integrated whole-aircraft parachute system, the French Robin DR400 with its wooden structure and distinctive cranked wings, and the Cirrus SR20. The training programs include licenses such as the Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL-A) and the Private Pilot License (PPL-A), as well as additional ratings such as Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), Night Rating, and radio communication certificates (BZF I, BZF II, AZF). The club values practical flying experience and theoretical knowledge and offers comprehensive pilot training, supported by experienced flight instructors, many of whom have a professional background as airline pilots.
Pilots who complete their training can rent club aircraft for private flights or training flights and enjoy the freedom to efficiently explore nearby regional destinations. The club also fosters a lively community of members with social events and a welcoming clubhouse atmosphere at the airport.
Cooperation with Cranfield Aviation Training Germany expands the theoretical training in instrument flying and gives students the opportunity to deepen their pilot qualifications through professional ground school and practical IFR flight lessons.
Cirrus Flying Club Münster-Telgte e.V. is well suited for hobby pilots, aspiring private pilots, and anyone considering a professional career in aviation, offering excellent facilities, experienced training, and a supportive community.
