Flugring Austria Wiener Neustadt

Flugring Austria Wiener Neustadt (FRA) is one of Austria's largest and most active aviation clubs, offering high-level motor and glider flight with one of the most modern aircraft fleets. Located at the military-civil airfield Wiener Neustadt West (LOXN) with six runways and extensive glider facilities, it provides excellent year-round flying conditions due to its strategic position between the Alps and the Hungarian plain. FRA supports pilot training programs including LAPL, PPL, night visual flight rules (NVFR), glider towing authorization, and aerobatic training. The club counts over 160 members, including national and world champions, and maintains a large hangar housing more than 30 private aircraft. It is an ideal choice for student pilots interested in both silent gliding and powered flight, with a welcoming community and experienced instructors. Trial flights are available for newcomers.
