USFC Punitz (Fliegerclub Punitz) is an aviation club and flight school based at Flugplatz Punitz (ICAO: LOGG) in Austria. It operates a grass runway (14/32, 800m x 18m) and has a community of over 60 members with two club aircraft: a Cessna 172P and a Piper Sport Cruiser.
The club offers EASA Part-FCL-compliant pilot training programs including Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL), Private Pilot License (PPL), Night VFR, and charter flight training. Training combines practical flying exercises such as solo flights, navigation flights, and radio communication training with theoretical courses covering navigation, meteorology, air law, aircraft knowledge, and radio communication. Theoretical training is mostly conducted in German with flexible scheduling including weekend classes.
The club employs certified flight instructors and maintains aircraft according to CAMO standards for safety. Members benefit from waived landing fees during and after training, hangar rental options, and involvement in club events like the Silvester Fly-In. The club is accessible by car, on foot, or by aircraft, making it a convenient choice for aspiring pilots in the region.
