Fliegergruppe Wien is an Austrian aviation organization based at Bad Vöslau airfield near Vienna, Austria, founded in 1952. It offers comprehensive pilot training programs, including Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL) and Private Pilot License (PPL), with practical training on aircraft such as the Diamond DV-20 and the Cessna C172 Rocket. The training includes theoretical courses, Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR), aerobatics, radio telephony certificates (BZF I & II) and ICAO Language Proficiency. Its fleet consists mainly of well-maintained single-engine piston aircraft with modern avionics, suitable for IFR flights.
The organization promotes pilot development with a focus on practical alpine flying experience, unforgettable solo and cross-country flights, and structured training including alpine orientation and an unforgettable triangle flight. Fliegergruppe Wien operates its own flight school and offers aspiring pilots in Austria a supportive environment.
