- Theoretical instruction in air law, navigation, radio communications, meteorology, aerodynamics, general aircraft knowledge, technology and pyrotechnic instruction, behavior in special situations and human performance
- Practical flight training including ground school, flight preparation and execution, control effects, straight and level flight, climb, descent, glide, stall and spin, turns, traffic pattern, sideslip, precision landings, emergency landing exercises, cross-country flights and navigation
- At least 30 flight hours including at least 5 hours of solo flight
- Takeoffs and landings at different airfields including solo
- Preparation and execution of 3 solo cross-country flights of at least 50 km
- At least 2 cross-country flights with an instructor of at least 200 km with an intermediate landing
