The Aero Club Arnstadt e.V. (ACA) is a non-profit aviation club in Thuringia, Germany, focused on helping aviation enthusiasts, especially young people and adults, to obtain the Sport Pilot License (SPL) for ultralight aircraft, subject to medical fitness. Training includes a minimum of 60 hours of theory covering air law, navigation, meteorology, radio communication, and at least 30 hours of practical flight training with solo flights. The club operates well-maintained ultralight aircraft including Aeroprakt A22L2 and B&F FK9 Mk VI, and also offers a flight simulator for training purposes.
