Fliegergruppe Giengen/Brenz e.V.

Fliegergruppe Giengen/Brenz e.V. is a non-profit flying club and flight school located at the Irpfel airfield near Giengen/Brenz, Germany. It offers comprehensive pilot training in motor flight, ultralight, and gliding with a unique fleet of 15 aircraft including training, classic, and high-performance gliders. The club provides training for Private Pilot License (PPL) and Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL) for airplanes, aerobatics, night VFR flying, towing authorization, and ultralight pilot licensing, as well as Sailplane Pilot License (SPL) and LAPL for sailplanes. Operated by volunteer flight instructors in a professional yet family-oriented atmosphere, it promotes affordable flying through a member bonus system. Facilities include pilot information, webcams, weather stations, and a clubhouse open on weekends during the flying season. Introductory trial flights and courses for ultralight and gliding are available, making it an excellent choice for aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
