Luftsportclub Hamm e.V.<\/b> operates Hamm-Lippewiesen airfield, which has been uniquely located close to the city center of Hamm for over 50 years. The club has more than 350 members who are active in four sports groups: powered flight, gliding, ultralight flying, and ballooning.

The club offers comprehensive information about the airfield, flight training programs, and sightseeing flights over regions such as Münsterland, Ruhrgebiet, Sauerland, and Lippetal, with routes that can be customized individually.

Flight training includes theoretical instruction with 80 hours on key aviation topics as well as practical training to obtain licenses such as Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL) and Private Pilot License (PPL). The club supports obtaining the radio telephony certificates BZF I and BZF II.

The powered flight fleet consists of various Cessna 172 models and a Piper PA28 Archer III with a modern glass cockpit for IFR operations.

Other offerings include live webcams, weather updates, a voucher shop, and environmentally friendly measures such as electric towing of aircraft.
