Vereinigung Aktiver Piloten e.V. is a combined flying club and flight school at Klausheide airfield near Nordhorn, Germany. Founded in 1980 as a nonprofit association, the club is dedicated to passionate pilots and flight instructors, many of whom maintain and fly their own historic aircraft. The flight school offers comprehensive pilot training, including EASA licenses such as LAPL (A), PPL (A), and UL (SPL), as well as special courses such as night flying, tailwheel training, aerobatics, glider towing, banner towing, and radio telephony certificates (BZF). This unique approach ensures that students learn to fly thoroughly and correctly and understand the essence of "proper flying".
