Motorflugschule Bielefeld is a modern and professional flight school based at Bielefeld Airport with around forty years of experience. It provides comprehensive flight training for aspiring private pilots and experienced aviators, including the European standard Private Pilot License (PPL A), night flights, check flights, renewals, and international flights. The school also offers theoretical and practical ground training with courses in radio communication, language proficiency exams, and various seminars.
The flight school operates a fleet of training aircraft including the classic two-seater Cessna 152, the four-seater Cessna 172, and the Piper PA-28 Archer, all equipped with modern avionics such as Garmin GNS430 COM/NAV/GPS, some with Garmin G5 or GI-275 EFIS, and several with autopilot features. Three aircraft are IFR equipped to support LPV approaches. Maintenance is done on-site at the Bielefeld airfield.
Through membership in the affiliated Luftsportverein Bielefeld-Gütersloh, students have access to a fleet of ten aircraft for training and charter use after earning their license. The school emphasizes safe and solid pilot education following professional standards while fostering the fascination of flying. Flexible training schedules cater to hobby pilots and those balancing training with professional commitments.
The flight instructors team includes experienced aviators with backgrounds in professional piloting, airfield operations, and aviation administration. Motorflugschule Bielefeld also provides its own radio communication training for pilots, supporting language and exam preparation for flight license candidates.
