Brief description Luxembourg Flight Training Academy

Luxembourg Flight Training Academy (LFTA) is a professional, EASA-approved Flight Training Organisation (ATO LU.ATO.0001) based at Luxembourg International Airport. Founded in 2012, LFTA offers modular, comprehensive flight training from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) through ATPL, emphasizing personalized training by experienced instructors, many of whom are current or former airline pilots. The academy operates a modern fleet of 12 aircraft including single-engine and multi-engine piston planes equipped with PBN-capable Garmin avionics, enhancing real-world skills at a busy commercial airport. LFTA also provides advanced flight simulators from Alsim (AL250 and AIRLINER) to enrich the training experience. Core training includes PPL, Night VFR, IR, CBIR, MEP, CPL, ATPL, MCC, and Flight Instructor ratings, supported by modern classrooms and briefing rooms. Additionally, LFTA runs the DIMAS program to introduce aerospace knowledge to secondary schools, and maintains strong partnerships with airlines and aerospace organizations. It is an active flight school focused on advancing student pilots professionally and safely.
