Brief description Hessen-Flieger Verein Für Luftfahrt 1924 Darmstadt E.v.

Hessen-Flieger Verein für Luftfahrt 1924 Darmstadt e.V. is an established aviation club at Frankfurt Egelsbach Airport (EDFE) in Germany and offers comprehensive, community-oriented pilot training. The club operates a diverse fleet of eight aircraft from manufacturers such as Diamond, Cessna and Piper, equipped with modern avionics and intercom systems for all seats, suitable for VFR, NVFR and IFR operations.

The club offers individual support throughout pilot training, from first circuit flights to cross-country navigation and practical exams. The training programs include the Private Pilot License (PPL), the Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL), night rating, instrument rating, flight instructor courses, radiotelephony certificates and ICAO language proficiency tests.

After obtaining the license, members have access to the entire fleet and to partner aircraft for different types of flying, from local outings to business and holiday flights. The club promotes compliance with noise protection regulations and the long-term development of pilots in its community of around 150 members, including more than 80 active pilots.

Interested parties are asked to contact the club by email or phone to receive detailed information and personal advice on membership and pilot training.
