Flugschule Schaller is an aviation school located in Franken, Germany, with over 30 years of experience in pilot training. The school offers high-quality, practice-oriented flight training emphasizing safety, covering both theoretical and practical aspects.
The flight school operates a fleet of five aircraft based at Flugplatz Haßfurt (ICAO: EDQT). The fleet includes both tailwheel (Spornradflugzeug) and tricycle gear (Bugradflugzeug) aircraft, as well as ultralight (UL) aircraft. Training programs include PPL-A, LAPL, and UL licenses, with special emphasis on emergency training.
A unique feature of the school is the advanced training available on the historic North American T6G Texan, a 600 HP warbird, for pilots experienced with tailwheel aircraft.
The flight school team, led by Hans Schaller, includes experienced flight instructors and offers personalized training programs. The theoretical and practical training is conducted at their hangars at Flugplatz Haßfurt, making it a reputed aviation training center in the region.
