Dithmarscher Luftsportverein e.V. is a German flying club based at the scenic St. Michaelisdonn airfield (ICAO: EDXM) in northern Germany. The club operates a modern fleet of motor aircraft including Diamond DA40, Katana DV20, Diamond DA20, Cessna 150, and Piper PA28, alongside gliders such as Schleicher ASK-23, Grob G 102 ASTIR CS, Schleicher ASW-19, Schleicher ASK 21, and Schempp-Hirth Duo Discus. It offers comprehensive pilot training programs for licenses including LAPL-A and PPL-A, covering both theoretical and practical lessons. Additional training includes night VFR, ICAO language proficiency tests, and radio communication licenses BZF I and II. The airfield, situated on a 40-meter-high ridge, is operated by the club and provides visitor services such as fuel and local flight guidance.
