AIP explained

The official reference each state publishes about flying in its airspace, following ICAO rules. It has three parts: - **GEN**: general rules, services and abbreviations - **ENR**: en-route, i.e. airspace, routes and navigation aids - **AD**: aerodromes, with charts, frequencies and local procedures It is amended on fixed AIRAC dates, while anything urgent or temporary is published as a NOTAM. Most countries publish it online as an eAIP.
