Rupp Aircraft GmbH & Co. KG with headquarters in Kisslegg in the German region of Allgäu specializes in the design and production of the two-seat ultralight turbine helicopter Phönix FR200, which has been certified since October 2023 with German type approval by the DAeC. The helicopter is known for its excellent power-to-weight ratio, aerodynamic efficiency and precise handling, making it ideal for training, leisure and professional use.
The flight training programs are individually tailored at the nearby airports Leutkich (EDNL), Tannheim (EDMT) and Mengen (EDTM) and include theoretical courses such as air law, radio communication, navigation, meteorology, emergency procedures and human performance, as well as practical flight training with solo and cross-country flights and landing exercises. The exams are conducted by DAeC-approved examiners.
Rupp Aircraft also offers introductory flights with experienced flight instructors over scenic regions such as Upper Swabia, the Allgäu and Lake Constance, creating unique flight experiences. The company won the 2024 innovation award in the rotary-wing category from aerokurier.
