Brief description Flugsportverein Bad Dürkheim E.v.
The Bad Dürkheim Flying Sports Club e.V. operates the Bad Dürkheim airfield (EDRF), a lively aerodrome for general aviation in the scenic Palatinate region of Germany. The club runs a licensed flight school that offers pilot training for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL-A) and Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL-A), as well as ultralight aircraft training. The fleet includes aircraft such as the Aquila A211, Piper Archer PA28-181 and FK 9 Mark VI. The flight school is supported by experienced flight instructors who provide comprehensive training including night flying and radio telephony certificates (BZF I and II). Other activities at the airfield include balloon flights, trial flights and skydiving. The club is a meeting place for aviation enthusiasts and offers a welcoming community for those interested in aviation and pilot training.
