Motorfluggruppe Regensburg e.V. operates a certified flight school since 1962 at Regensburg-Oberhub airfield (ICAO: EDNR), authorized as ATO DE.BY.ATO.222 by the Northern Bavaria Aviation Authority. Their training curriculum includes private pilot licenses (PPL, LAPL), night flight rating, radio telephony certificates (BZF I and II), and ICAO Level 4 language proficiency tests. Experienced CPL(A) flight instructors provide training on modern single-engine and multi-engine aircraft including Cessna 172N, Cessna 172SP, and Piper PA28-181 Archer III. The club manages the airfield and welcomes new members interested in flying and aviation education.
