Fliegerclub Erding e.V., founded in 1967, is a well-established aviation club in Erding, Germany, with about 150 members sharing a passion for flying. The club operates a modern fleet of three single-engine piston aircraft: Piper PA-18 Super Cub, DA20 Katana, and Cessna 150-L. It offers comprehensive motor pilot training, including Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL), combining digital theoretical instruction via an app and practical training in three progressive phases. While radio communication training is provided by external partners, the club focuses on practical flight skills and community engagement. Situated near the historic former Fliegerhorst Erding, the club currently operates from Landshut (EDML) and Mühldorf (EDMY) airports. The club invites newcomers and experienced pilots to join and experience the joy of aviation in a friendly environment.
