Rotenburg (Wümme) airfield is a general aviation airport in the Elbe-Weser triangle near Hamburg, Bremen, and Hanover. It serves numerous aircraft types such as powered airplanes, helicopters, gliders, and ultralight aircraft. The airfield has its own fuel station with Avgas 100LL, Jet A-1, and Super Plus fuels. There are seminar rooms, training facilities, and hangar rental. The flight school offers a wide range of training, including LAPL, PPL, theoretical lessons, night VFR, ICAO language tests, various radio telephony licenses, and flight instructor training. In addition, scenic flights and a distinctive Bundeswehr Transall aircraft as a visitor attraction are available. Seasonal opening hours and noise protection regulations apply. The airfield is not classified as a flying club, operates its own flight school, but does not offer its own radio telephony training.
